Bankroll: $1,010.38Woo hoo! After 77 days, I have converted 10$ into 1000$. What a good feeling! I'm 5% of the way to 20k. The next major milestone is set to be 4,000$. At that point, I will be able to play the $0.50 / 1$ ring games as well as some pretty high stakes tournaments of up to 100$.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice on mixing it up. I decided to move to 2nl which is going well. Just a quick question about multi tabling. How many if any do you play at a time while playing cash, or even sng's etc etc. I seem to be hitting a rough patch when it comes to 24 tables so im moving back to 12.

ReplyDeleteIt appears you are doing very well with your challenge, I've been checking your blog whenever I remember. Very fast progress so far, it's pretty impressive especially considering how frustrating $0.01/$0.02 can be.
As for the multi-tabling, I agree with you moving back down to 12. You just have to experiment like that until you figure out how many tables maximizes your profit. When I grinded the micro's, I started with one table until I got a feeling for the play. Then I was able to pretty rapidly build up to about 9-12 with maximized profit. Any more than that and it became too hectic for me and I started to break even, so I stuck with 9-12 until I moved up in stakes & started with 1 table & built up again.
